Russian Culture/russian men

QuestionHello-
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with Russian culture but i figured it couldn't hurt to ask. We recently hired a man from kazakhstan at my place of business named Gleb who I am very interested in. When he first arrived things seemed to be going very well, we would laugh, joke with each other...and especially argue; about almost anything(he cant ever be wrong). He agreed to go to get coffee with me and then...something happened, I'm not sure what. Now he wont ever be alone with me, not even to take a work break...and though he agreed to go for coffee...a week later he told me he was not interested in getting to know anyone from work on a personal level...which was then followed by him going out with some of the guys here. He still makes a lot of good eye contact with me and is very flirty, smiling at me and such, still arguing and laughing...which makes me think he might be interested but I'm not sure. Do Russian men not like American women?! I don't know if it has anything to do with his being Russian, or if he is simply not interested in me...but i am interested to hear your opinion as I really would love to get to know him on a personal level. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time.
AnswerHi Natalie!
I'm not an expert on men either really! It's probably best to ask this in the relationship section, but it sound to me like he is being a pr**k and enjoying the fact that he has this 'power' over you that makes him get an ego boost to think that you like him and are pursuing him, he isn't really interested. In other words, he sounds like a player who wants to nevertheless make everyone think he isn't.
I don't think it has anything to do with Russian men not liking American women; I think it should go in the relationship section. But to me, he doesn't sound like a guy who'd be worth your time or even attention.
Hope that helps, although honestly, I'm not an expert on relationship.
Katya.
