Question
Hi! Ok, so I've been writing my name in the Cyrillic alphabet but I've been translating it letter for letter and I'm not sure if this is right.
My name is Lainie Boyle (Lay-knee Boy-l)
If you could give me what would be the correct spelling that would be really cool! thank you!

Answer
Hi Lainie,

There may be several variants a name can be transliterated so I perfectly understand your having doubts.
I've googled your first and last names and found Lainie Kazan is translated Лэйни and the director Danny Boyle's surname is Бойл. Considering this, your name should be spelled Лэйни Бойл.

Best regards,
Natasha
