Russian Language - Translation

Expert: Natasha Kozyreva - 5/17/2009

Question
How would you translate the phrase "I am as I am"?
Also, how would you pronounce the translation?

Answer
Hello Natasha,

The translation is either Я такой, какой есть* (masculine) or Я такая, какая есть** (feminine).

*Pronounced Ya takOy kakOy yest'
**Ya takAya kakAya yest'
' marks a soft sound.
a is pronounced like 'u' in 'cut'.
Hope the explanation is clear enough.

You can also type copy and paste the sentences here:http://text-to-speech.imtranslator.net/speech.asp to hear them pronounced by a text-to-speech engine (I've checked, it's all right).

Best regards,
Natasha
