Question Hello Maam,
I am just writing to ask how to learn Russian the easiest. I think the rossetta stone would work well, but it is so expensive that I couldn't possibly afford it. I understand that there are LOTS of different structures to the language, and as a typical American, they all baffle the living hell out of me. I am just wondering if there is a textbook (possibly an old edition) that I could find cheaply (as I am a poor college student).

Answer i think you can try looking for free online guides and references in the internet. there quite a few of them and i think they can help you to learn the basics.
about textbooks - i'll try to ask my colleagues who teach russian if they can recommend anything and will tell you what they'll say.
