Subject: 2000 9-5 SE Turbo Automatic No-start

Question
Hi There
After running the car, intermittantly it will not re-start.  The instruments light correctly but the engine does not crank.  This will always correct itself after approx 15 minutes.  The car never fails after it has been standing.  These symptoms have persisted for approx 1 year.  The above symptoms are always adhered to, i.e. The car has never failed to start first thing in the morning and following a no-start, it always starts after approximately 15 mins.
Cheers
Jeff

Answer
Jeff:
As stated in my profile, my personal hands-on experience is limited to 1990 and EARLIER SAABS. I am afraid I cannot provide anything specific of help, but do recommend subscribing to the website <alldatadiy.com> for the most comprehensive troubleshooting information available. It is $25/year, but well worth it.
