Question hi walter-
I have just started looking at saabs as a serious consideration to purchase for my next car and I found a pretty little 96 saab 900S. Everything looks great, with the only problem being I hear a small clicking noise underneath the car. As I give it gas, it just goes faster, making me think it is the fan. just wondering what your take on this is and if you think I should still consider this purchase. Also, the Saab 900's after 94 are GMC engines, that isnt that big of a deal is it?

Answer It can be a lifter, or mayor problem.
Is a good idea to take the car to a Saab shop and ask for a Pre-Purchase inspection.
Then you will have a real idea about the car, and how much it will be to keep it running in a reliable condition.
