Subject: 88 Saab 9000 Heater Blower Motor

Question
My 88 Saab 9000 with ACC has the heater blower motor stuck on high even though the ACC switches the blower speed when the desired temp is reached.
Any Ideas? ACC bad, heater blower resitor? If you think its the heater blower resistor where is it located.? Thanks for any hints

Answer
The ACC unit sends a control signal to an electronic fan speed control, mounted in a with the blower motor under the plastic panels at the firewall. I would suspect this unit is toast. If you Email me at rlmieras@telusplanet.net I can send U a schematic diagram....
