Question Hi there, My name's Tanya and I am moving up to Sac from Los Angeles. My roommates and I are wondering what area(s) in Sacramento are considered Ghetto? What area(s) are considered Mid/Upper-Class?
I personally do not know a single thing about it, and I'm taking a huge risk picking an apt complex at random.
So anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!
Answer Sacramento has several areas where I think you would enjoy living. Our downtown/midtown area is vibrant, full of people in their 20s and 30s still in college or just starting careers. If you want to stay in Sacramento, there are some very nice apartments near Sacramento State, in North Natomas and in the Fair Oaks or Arden neighborhoods. I would personally avoid anything in Oak Park, Richards Blvd area, Laguna or Florin. If you choose a specific area and have more questions, please let me know.
