Safes & Security Containers/HHM safe

I acquired a HHM safe in the house that we own. The safe is a not an antique probably in the 40's+/-, I don't know what the combination is but I know they have a combination that the factory gives them, could you tell me what it is?
Thanks MW Nicholas

Hi Michael,

there is no such thing as a "factory" combination!    Every safe was given a unique and individual combination.    Manufacturers never publish any of these records,  for obvious security and liability reasons.

As HHM has been out of business for about 55 years,  contacting them to try to find an original combination is going to be very difficult.

This leaves you with two options,  you can test all of the possible combinations until you find the correct one,  or you can contact a local safe company to have their safe technician open it for you.

With 1,000,000 test combinations,  it could take several years to test them all.

Check your local yellow pages under safes and vaults for a local safe company.    If you don't have one,  let me know where you are located (zip code) and I'll see who I might know nearby.
