Question
Right now I have a 12 gal. SW fish only tank. My two inhabitants are a royal gramma (added 3 months ago) and a firefish goby (added 4 months ago). I was wondering if I could (or should) add any more to the tank without hurting the other two?

I was thinking either a clownfish or a blue/green chromis.

Answer
your tank is way too small for the gramma, it will quickly outgrow that tank. do not add any more fish, a tank that size is ideal for a pair o clown fish and thats about it. the fire fish is fine for a tank that size as long as it has plenty of bolt holes in the rock to hide in
