Question My percula clownfish is losing the black color along his fins and the top of his body. I have one other clownfish and she/he is okay. I have 5other fish in the tank and they are all doing fine. Is this one sick ?
Answer Hello Stephanie,
It has been reported that clowns lose thier color in captivity and when hosting in anemones... Although it should go to figure that both your fish should lose color similarly, or not as predominant as what you are describing...
If the fish are eating properly and behaving well, then i would think all is ok, but certainly keep an eye open for more sysmptoms...
good luck,
bill
