Question I am looking for any and all information on a Niner running back from the 1950's (circa 54-59) named H. E. Valerio. He was known as "Crazy Horse," I believe. Any info?

Thanks for contacting me and asking your 49ers question. In answer to it:
I've searched high and lown and couldn't find any info on Valerio. I then decided to check their all-time-roster where he was not even listed. In fact the 49ers have only had one player on their team ever, with the letter sequence VAL in their name. He was Joe Val Walker HB 1957. This leads me to two different conclusions. Either you have mistaken his name, or Valerio never actually made it onto a regular season roster. If you could supply w/ more info, I'd be happy to do another search for you.
