I`m an usher at the ballpark, so I can answer ANY questions about being AT a ball game. I know who`s single, who`s married, who`s dating...

Question
Two parter... What are the BEST seats, and what is the best way to sneak good seats?  Some of us can`t afford the great spots, but would benefit more sitting there than the people that can buy `em....

Answer
I can't really tell you what the "best seats" are...it depends what you're going for.  I love the seats about twenty rows back (which puts them in the "lower box" section) right behind the plate. Other people like being behind the dugout and still others down the line by the bullpens.  I also know people who really enjoy the atmosphere of the bleachers, or the convenience/elitism of the club levels, or the view of the bay from the view deck.  It all depends on what you're going for.

As an usher, of course, I would never tell you HOW to sneak into sections because it is simply not allowed at the ballpark (and frankly a rather offensive practice).  What I would recommend though is that if you DO choose to sneak into a seat to which you are not entitled and a guest services rep approaches you to ask you to move, don't be a jerk about it.  Admit that you're in the wrong place and move to where you belong quickly and without complaint, otherwise you may be subject to ejection, which is never fun for anyone involved.
