For future reference, when rain before game time threatens play, the home ballclub makes the decision to postpone or cancel. The Giants are unlikely to choose cancellig a game as their home schedule for the remainder of the season is pretty full and they already have a rain make-up double header against Arizona in their final homestand.
If rain occurs during a game, the umpires get the decision.
