Question
bought a 93 dohc sc3. starter clicks sometimes starts. I am no novice buy the way lol. Now i hook a wire from the + on the batt to the terminal on the starter that makes it spin the bendix i dunno so, i have some get in car to turn key to make sol pop out they hold it there i then apply power to the terminal to spin the starter and it fires. Now is this the cables or my starter being crap. i have also apllied a hot line to the main feed on the starter and it still clicks also applied to hot line on alt still just clicks. I know the cable's go bad but since i am supplying my own power the only way i get juice is buy appying to the bendex HELP!!!!

Answer
Hi Ben

I am assuming you tested everything and you are getting power to the starter right........If thats the case then your starter is crap......Also I assume you have made sure the cables aren't corroded and have no signs of fraying right......if all look good with power, and no fraying, Just go ahead and change your starter.......

Let me know ok

ERIC
