Does the 97 saturn wagon double overhead cam car have a clutch cycle switch or does the compressor since suction pressure and vary suction that way....inother words variable capacity?

Answer The compressor is a variable displacement type but there is a cutoff switch that turns the compressor off under certain conditions. Such as high/low pressure, wide open throttle, engine overspeed (6000rpm) and when the cooling fan is not functioning. Among other things.
