I'm sorry this question isn't about Savage Garden, it's as close as I could get on this web site. I just heard this song on the radio, I loved it! A real throughback to the classic rock days of the late 70's. I didn't think they made music like that anymore... Anyway, the DJ said the name of the song was "Velvet Revolver", and the bands name was "Sliver" I think. Please help me out or point me in the right direction. I need that CD!!

Answer hi,thanks for the question,first off i am a Savage Garden expert on this site so you are suposed to ask Savage Garden questions.. to get answers to questions on other groups in the futurre go to allexperts.com then type in under search what ever you want to know...but since i know almost everything about music in genrail because im a big music freak i CAN ANSWER youre question the name of the group is VELVET REVOLVER.the name of the song is SLITHER not silver its the first single off the groups CD -CONTRABAND-the reason the group sounds 70ish is because the group is formerly GUNS&ROSES minus axel rose.. and the lead singer is scott weiland former front man and lead singer for the stone temple pilots.the cd is available at any local record store i am a big Rock music fan and i recomend their cd it is very good and if youre a guns and roses fan you will most likely like the cd. good old fasion Rock the way it should be....well theres your answer i hope i have helped you and answered youre question and like i said im a savage garden expert but if you have a question in the future i would be happy to help you out, even though im a savage garden expert i can answer almost any music question music is my life.thanks again....
