About Deanne Expertise I can answer most questions about the show and the characters. I have
seen every episode of the original series, Miss Bliss, and The College
Years many times. If I don`t know the answer to a question, I am
willing to do a little research or watch an episode or two in order to
find the answer. I have some knowledge about the actors from the show.
I have (and have read) the biographies of the three guys, the Behind the
Scenes book, and every other book that I know of about the show. I have
read many articles about the show and cast, and have read many
interviews with the cast. I try to keep up with the current projects of
former cast members. I am also a collector of Saved by the Bell items
and memorabilia and have a website devoted to this hobby:

I can`t answer most questions about The New Class.
Experience I have seen
every episode of Saved by the Bell including the
Miss Bliss shows, the high school shows, and The
College Years many times. I actually keep a notebook with articles, show information, and so on. :-) I also own all of the books about the show (that I know of), such as the
Behind the Scenes book, the biographies of
Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, and Dustin
Diamond, and the Fitness with Saved by the Bell book. I have four scripts from the show as well, which have information about the scheduling of the show and how things were filmed, etc. I am a collector of Saved by the Bell items and memorabilia and have a website devoted to this hobby:

The episode being described did in fact exist. Zack and all the guys were sucked into tv land. The girls were at school stalling Belding. At the end of the episode, they found out how to get out and barely made it to school in time. Saved by the bell.

I remember that episode as well. Roz from night court was in it with dogs at the end. I remember them being sucked into the t.v. I think it came on right before the camp candy pilot.I thought it was weird that I never saw it again and that it was not like the rest of the show.

I remember seeing this episode also. I believed they were sucked into the television shows and came across other shows from NBC Saturday Morning.

I thought I was the only one that remembered it. Aside from this page I have not seen it mentioned on the web. I always remembered it because of Zack's "Saved By The Bell" catch phrase at the end. It was a Saturday morning that it was shown.

I remember seeing this too, and thought I might be crazy until I read about it here.
Zach and his friends somehow were sucked into their TV. They came across other shows and were involved in choosing the Saturday morning lineup for that season, although there was still one timeslot unfilled. At the end, they escaped the TV and got to school just before the bell rang, and Zach made a comment about being "Saved by the Bell."
The computer inside the TV decided that the last show in the Saturday morning lineup would be based around Zach and his friends, and that would be its title.

Well just found this question while looking for the pilot which is what I think you are thinking of. It aired on a Friday night and was the pilot to all the Saturday morning shows, like the "Karate Kid" cartoon and such. And it only aired one time to my knowledge.

I remember the same episode you are talking about. It was so long ago, and you actually have more details than I can remember. For awhile I too thought it was a dream or something but now I see it isn't. I have been looking online for this forever, and your posting is as close as I have come. If I ever find anything I'll repost to let you know

The episode you are referring was the pilot for not only SBTB but the new Saturday morning line-up. I remember them seeing the Karate Kid cartoon. It only aired the Friday night before the First season of SBTB on NBC. It is hard to find any info on the net about it. But I am pretty sure that is what you are referring.

I TOTALLY KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT... Today (3 years after your post)I was thinking the same thing and wanted to see if I could find some sort of info or video of what you just talked about because I remember the same exact thing. I couldn't remember if it was from a dream or not.

I remember that it was one of those specials that nbc used to do to promote the new fall cartoons and i believe served as the introduction to saved by the bell after the switch from good morning miss bliss

I remember the bell rang late for whatever reason. And tbat it was a preview of the Saturday morning lineup. Probably some smurfs up in there. All of us were watching nbc at the same time-some odd years ago--we have a special bond.

I remember the same general episode and have also wondered for years whether I was completely misremembering it. Might be time to check out the DVDs.
