Question
I received several bonds for my sons Christening and are missing a few of the
actual bonds.  They never came in the mail.  When the bond comes from the
treasury office it just says his name on it.  Not sure why they cannot just put the
donors name on the bond.  How do I find out which one of the gift donors is the
bond(s) that I did not receive?

Answer
Hi Cheryl - If the donor has the bond mailed to the gift recipient, you are correct - the donor's name doesn't appear on the bond. Moreover, in this case, there's no way to find out who the donor was.

However, if the donor has the bonds mailed to themselves, then presents them to the recipient, the donor's name will be printed on the bond in the "mail to" area.

Sorry there's not a better answer for your question.
