Question
I recently acquired a Bundy - Selmer alto saxophone. I found this number on the mouthpiece: 638176. Can you tell me anything about it? I know nothing about the subject, any info would be helpful. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Jami,

Your sax was made in 1975 from I found out. They were built like tanks for the beginning saxophonist. Nothing super special about them. Great beginner horns, marching band or a backup horn for the bar players. Let me know if there is anything else.
