Saxophone/1931 Conn Saxophone

I have a Conn Saxophone with serial number 247903 L. The age charts show it to be from 1931. I took it to my local music store and was told it needed new key pads, and that it had been relaquered. Otherwise it is in good condition, no dents. This instrument belonged to my uncle, who played it during WWII while in the US Army band. To the best of my knowledge he didn't do anything with it after the war, and when he died my father inherited it, then it came to me. I've had it for about 15 years, so I would estimate it has been stored in a closet for at least 30 years. I tried to save it for my grandson, but he is not interested in it. Could you place a value on it? I'm 70 years old, have a limited income, and could use the money to help pay bills.
Also in the case are a H Bettoney clarinet black barrel, a Selmer Airflow Table C mouthpiece, and a Meyer Alto brass mouthpiece (currently selling on eBay for $600). All with covers and clamps. The Items are all in a Selmer Tri Pack case.
Could you suggest a fair asking price?
Thank you for your help!

Hello Leah, You never told me if it's an Eb Alto, C Melody or Bb tenor....the total value is hard to determine without seeing the sax. The L stands for LOW PITCH which is great! That is today's pitch standard of A=440HZ.You said it was relacquered, because of that fact the value is lower. You said it need to be overhauled with new pads felts and corks,in order to make it playable,so the value is even lower. You said you have a limited income so the cost ($600-$800) to overhaul it is out of the question. So your best bet is to sell it as is. On ebay, Craigslist, or a local music store.
Conn saxophone values from the inter web...You have a Conn Transitional...

You’ll see these with different keywork styles, and almost always with elaborate engraving. Most are in silver. Deduct 10% for lacquer, add 30% for gold. These horns have a real cult following.

Alto $ 2400 ($2160 for Lacquered model)
Tenor $ 3000 ($2700 for Lacquer model)
Baritone $ 310o

These prices are for mint saxophones. So your sax needing an overhaul and being relacquered makes it worth less, but I need photos and include the serial number.I still don't know if it's an alto or tenor...
