Question
Hello Eugene,

I play guitar in a band but also play a bit of Alto. Can you please refer me to a website for sheet music.?

I currently do one or two songs live on Alto including Stranger on the Shore,I Feel Good & Pick up the Pieces.

Any suggestions please for other songs.?

Seasons greetings & Many thanks.

Campbell

Answer
You are going to have to learn most of the tunes by ear.  There is really not a great 'lead sheet' sit out there specifically for saxophone. There are a few good Van MOrrison tunes that lend themselves to alto - Moondance, Have I Told You Lately, and Into the Mystic to name just a few.  Turn the Page by Bob Seger has a little alto riff and any of the old motown classics can be covered pretty well by playing the lead line on horn and having a piano/organ fill in the gaps.  Good luck and enjoy playing!
