Question
i noticed when i scaned my 4x4 proof.. i was abole to repoduce it at any size, from a 8x10 to an 8x12 with not distortion.. my question is at what dpi or size was that scaned in at.. i used a scanner at another photo store and they did not know what the machine was scaning it in as and the dpi.. could you please try to sheed some light on this for me.

thank you

Answer
More than likely the scan was done at 300dpi or possibly 600dpi, these two resolutions are most common in photo scanning and would allow for the printing at the sizes you mentioned.

I hope this helps!

Thanks,
Paul Hill
