Question Hi Frances
I have some older photos size approx 3.5" x 3.5" amongst other sizes, I scanned one for a test and used Irfan software and MS Picture It Photo Standard 9 trying to resize these to a 6 x 4 so I can reprint them bigger and also want to have them full screen size when I run them as a slide show but no such luck.
Am I asking too much to be able to do this? I have an Epson Perfection 1670 Scanner and run XP Home and have software as per above and also have PhotoImpression 4 also and Powerpoint if this can be useful in my quest.
Please help me as I am a young 60 years old and have many photos in different size formats including some with borders - from 1971 and would like to be able to make bigger prints, but also would like to make some nice slide shows.
Kind regards

Answer Enlarging an image always causes blurring.
The only thing better you could get is PaintShop Pro by Corel at www.corel.com.
No matter what you do, the images will turn out blurry and poor if you enlarge them. Try putting several smaller images together into a collage on one image to print or use.
