Question Widows Vista (home)
Epson Scanner/copier/printer
years ago I had a computer and scanner...I could scan a document and save it as a text file.
----------
the next computer/scanner I had I had to run scanned documents through a reader program before it could be saved as text file.
----------
with my latest scanner epson scan/print combo.
I cant find any way to save or convert a scanned document to a text file...is there a way to do this that i'm overlooking?
Answer My guess is that yes, there is a way. It is also probably pretty simple, and you're gonna think you were silly when you find it.
Without knowing the exact model I can't tell you how, but your scanner/printer should have come with a book that should tell you. It should also have a help file which will tell you exactly how to do it.
If you send the exact model info, I can find the links at their website along which will have drivers, manuals, troubleshooters, etc..
