Question
I am new to APA, and I have been asked to cite a presentation.  There was a workshop with multiple presentations over the course of the day, but I can't find a referencing technique for this sort of thing at all (I supposed I should be referencing the power-point presentation specifically?). Also in your opinion, should I reference them together, or each as a separate presentation since they were part of the same workshop.
Thanks a lot.

Answer
Cite it as you would an article in a compilation of the proceedings of a  scholarly conference.

Author (date). Title of presentation. Name of workshop. Location.

If you don't have an author, lead with the title of the presentation. The medium is not important, but if it has not actually been published you might be asked to provide information about how it can be accessed. If you can provide a URL where it is available on the Internet that's always nice. But if it is not available, it is not available, and that's that.

Hope this helps.
