Question
Does a problem/solution style essay need only one solution? Or can I use multiple?
example
Problem: not enough support in school for kids w/social anxiety
Solutions: 1. create awareness with teachers
         2. Set up help groups with students

Answer
I don't see why more than one solution should not be offered. You would need to support them all with evidence, however. My one reservation about my answer is that your instructor may have established rules for the class you're in. Be sure you don't trip over that possibility.

Hope this helps.
