Question
hello,
i was wondering..what is the best way to study for english..apart from reading books because i have no clue what to do..because it is not like maths and science where you ahve to learn facts

Answer
Reading is by far the best way. But read good stuff; while you may read the sports, business, and lifestyle pages for information, they are generally not sources of good writing. Good fiction and nonfiction books are your best bet. They also have the advantage of building your fund of knowledge, which is also a requisite for a good writer.

Second best is to have a good editor look over your work and point out ways to improve it. If you pay attention to the changes your editor makes and avoid the things that prompted them, you'll get better.

Hope this helps.
