Question
i have to write an essay of no less than 150 words or more than 250 words explaining my plans for further education and how this education will help me achieve your future goals.

this is an essay for a scholarship that i am applying for for college.i am a senior in high school.this is due march 11.please help me as much as u can!thanks so much!

Answer
I'm going to have to know something about you before I can help with this, Lexy. Let's begin with you writing down your plans for the future. What do you think you want to grow up to be? (Don't worry if you're not sure. Even if you are sure right now, there's a good chance your ambition will change some over time.) Spend a few sentences telling me why you want to be that.

Send it to me at: dan@wordsmithofaustin.com

We'll work on it together, and it will be easier to do it directly by e-mail than back and forth in this venue.

When you send me something, use correct capitalization and punctuation. Keep in mind that I am not a "u." To you, I am a "you." And so is everyone else. Sentences begin with capital letters and end with periods. Every time you write something, you should practice writing well. When you write as you wrote to me just now, you are practicing writing poorly. Because you have practiced writing poorly rather than well, this is a difficult task for you.

I'll look forward to seeing your essay. Once I know a bit more about you, I can give you the kind of help you need. I've already started.
