Answer The fields in which you want to work are outside my expertise. But I have generated a fair amount of business as a result of my volunteer work at this site. I think you might have a similar experience if you become a volunteer expert in accountancy issues here. Understand that you will have to cheerfully respond to questions, and that many of these questions and answers will not generate money. But some of them will, and if you do the work well they will generate paying referrals. I have found it necessary to limit the amount of work I can do at no charge. You should do the same. The limit I set is to edit or rewrite one double-spaced page. After that, I charge a fee. You'll have to set similar limits, but I cannot advise you on the limits you should set on volunteer (free) work. Make it reasonable. You should do enough that potential clients can see what you can do for them.
