Singer Britney Spears is very talented superstar. As a young woman she is recognized through her music, acting and spokesperson for many companies. She is a spoke person for Pepsi representing her strength as an independent individual and how she appears is being shown.
  

  Britney Spears is known for being the pop princess. Britney Spears was the driving force behind the return of teen pop in the late '90s. She was the first pop teen female that mainly caught the attention of the media. Everyone teen female pop singer began to follow her footstep. For example, Christina Aguilar, Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff are among the few that came after her appearance. Britney Spears first music video, “Baby One More Time,” was the start of her influential on pop culture. Britney Spears sold millions copies on her first album for a young 17-year girl. Her sex appeal was an important part of her image, they dressed her up as an innocent Catholic-school regalia, and sent her well on the way to becoming an international sex symbol. She was the  icon for females and a sex symbol for males, influencing how male perceive the new generation female ideals and values, slutty, sexy, and ideal of a feminine. There was several stirring up endless controversial issue about her sex appeal.  At, the beginning of her career she tried to keep her innocence by proclaiming her virginity until marriage. However, the more provoking her outfit become, the more implausible her statement was. Spears was a superstar, drooled over in countless magazines, including a Rolling Stone cover that prompted immediate speculation about the still-17 year old having gotten breast implants.
  Britney Spears using her sex appeal. In the commercial she is portraying a seductive temptress who is drawn the crowded of older, white males. In the sense, it is representing women as more knowledgeable, independent individuals who are capable to be on her own. Since, the Pepsi commercial is aiming toward older men, Britney Spears is placed as a male's seductive, submissive, and innocent object for the men to control. In the Pepsi commercial, she is showing her innocent, young age, followed by her child-like singing voice. Innocence is sexier than because it symbolize some what a level of purity. The Pepsi commercial  mainly focusing on certain of her body part, such as her facial and stomach for the male consumer's life. Also, Britney Spears also represents feminine strength and independence. She began the commercial by wearing men's clothing: caps, jumpsuit and ripping it off. Usually, an ideal of a women are in skirt and fancy outfit. She is the only girl in the commercial dancing with all the guys.  

Britney Spears performed an onstage kiss. During the performance of 2003 MTV video Music Awards, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera opened the show by singing with Madonna, “Like A Virgin”. Then Madonna joined Britney and Christina on stage and she performed her latest hit "Hollywood" with the girls. Madonna then joined an intimate kiss on stage first to Britney Spears, then turned around and kissed Christina Aguilera. It was a real eye shocker for most people.   The “kiss” is differently sometime extraordinary to the American Culture. It was beautiful two women kissing one another, despite the smithereens in past years. Something, like this was not unacceptable in the mainstream especially in Hollywood movie. A female-female kissing does not mean they are lesbian; Britney Spears, Christina Aguilar and Madonna set up a new trend that allows 100% heterosexual to kiss and has no stimulants. By the kiss being capture on camera, it allow the mainstream  to make it accept for others.
