Question looking for the name or author of sci-fi novel I read in the mid 1980s that features as the main character Jesus hiding out on earth from intergalactic bad guys, my recollection is that in the book christianity is started by mistake and that Jesus is really a being involved in an intergalactic conflict. I seem to remember the title having the word 'conspiracy' in it but after many hours of searching I have not found it. Thanks in advance
Answer Haven't read that one. Sorry. My favorite Jesus-science fiction story is Behold the Man by Michael Moorcock, which appears both as a short story and as a novella. It's in the Science Fiction Hall of Fame, volume 3. While not as good as Volume 1, 2A or 2B, this volume contains many other worthwhile stories.
