Question
I am looking for the title of a short story that Isaac Asimov wrote. It was before
1976. It was about aliens did an experiment on laughter with humans.

Answer
One of my favorite short stories.  The title is "Jokester" and it is in several anthologies.  The first one on the list will be the easiest to find.
