Question
I have to come up with a reasearch paper topic related to my science project, ninth grade.  It is about which wood sealer is most effective on wood.  The research paper does not have to be exactly on the projet but rather on a topic related to it so I can learn some background information.  Could you please help come up with a reasearch topic that is relateed to wood sealers ?
Thank you

Answer
Hi Konalon,

There are different kinds of wood sealers but most work  to "fill the pores" in the wood and  the harden.  These are generally some type of acrylic mixed in a solvent or a laquer based mixture which works the same way.  Some allow the acrylic to soak deeply into the wood fiber while others are more surface applications.  Why not research these different types of acrylics and solvents?
