Subject: testing carbonation in soda

Question
Dear Scientist
How can I test and record for the amounts of carbonation in different types of soda
Thanks
Joe Sirchia

Answer
Get a bunch of two-liter soda bottles.  Make sure they are all at the same temperature.  Get a bunch of identical balloons.  Open a bottle and quickly put a balloon over the top.  Shake the bottle to inflate the balloon.  You can eyeball the size of the balloon, or you can tie it off and immerse it in water to find its volume.
