Question
I am doind a project and need help. I need an examples of a household mixture that can separatre(eg. salad dressing vinigar and olive oil) can you help

Answer
Hi Harry

Most will be oil and water or oil and vinegar. Then you can also have a pulpy orange juice and the pulp will settle to the bottom if left alone long enough. Sour Cream if not used for a while will allow the whey to come to the top (the clear liquid).  But most of the time, most food products have emulsifiers in them which keeps the mixtures from separating.
