Question
My daughter is in the sixth grade, and she needs to make a simple invention for her science fair.  Any ideas?

Answer
Hi Tracy,

How about an "around the corner pea shooter"  This uses a flexi straw and a wad of paper.  You can make it more fancy by putting a mirror on the straw so that you can see around the same corner.  Then when some one comes walking down the hall, blamo she can shoot the person with the shooter.

Or how about a potato flash light?  Using a piece of copper and a piece of zinc, attach wire leads and these then go the a flash light bulb in a socket wired for this and presto, a potato flash light.

Let me know if you want some more ideas.
