Subject: Nail Polish ingredients (N.Y.C.)

Question
For my 5th grade science project I need to know what the ingredients are for
N.Y.C. brand nail polish and if color affects the ingredients. I'm using yellow,
purple and white. Just you needed the colors for the question.
THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Answer
Different colors will have different ingredients.  Otherwise, if the ingredients were exactly the same, the colors would be exactly the same.

The solvent used in almost all nail polish is acetone.  Then they add different coloring agents.  Each company has a secret recipe for its nailpolish.  You can email the company and ask, but they probably won't tell you.
