Question
IM having a bio quiz next class soon 12:00 pm and I have a question

How to describe indenpent varible?

How to describe dependent varible?

how can i write them as

need serious help becuz i missed to much school and im confused

Answer
The independent variable is the one you are changing.  The dependent variable is the one that reacts to the thing you are changing.  You measure the dependent variable.

Example:  The experiment wants to know if being sleepy makes you do poorly on a test.  The independent variable (the cause - one you are changing) is how many hours of sleep you get.  The dependent variable (the effect - the result you are measuring) is the score you get on the test.
