Question
Hey there:

Is the Ostrich considered a bird?

In the context of below comparison, I would consider it a land animal....
Maybe add a footnote ?!

Answer
Hello there,
Thanks for contacting me. I think this may help you better. I am not familiar with it and do not want to give you wrong information. Here it is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostrich
http://www.sandiegozoo.org/animalbytes/t-ostrich.html

I would consider it a land animal.

Take care and let me know if you have any more questions, and also if you don't mind to rate me so that other people can contact me depending on how helpful I have been in helping you and others.

Best to you.
Gloria
