Question
OK in our science class we have to make a trebuchet and catapult an egg off of it as far as we can without it breaking. I want to know of some shock absorbers that we can put around the egg. If you have any extra ideas please send that too! Thank you

Answer
Alyssa,

Cool idea.

You should layer the following around the egg:

A sheet of closed cell flexible foam used as packing material.

Then a sheet of small cell bubble wrap

Then a sheet of large cell bubble wrap.

And as a cheat, you can hard boil the egg.
