Question
where can I find a someone to do my family tree??who isnt going to just write anything down??

Answer
Hi Scott,  I understand your concern, there are a couple of organizations that may be able to help you find a reputable genealogist.  They are the Board of Certification of Genealogist (www.bcgcertification.org) and the Association of Professional Genealogists ((www.apgen.org). If you go to these sites you will find various to search for someone to help;state, surnames, etc.  A certified genealogist has done a lot of work to get certified and whose is subject to action to the organization in which he is certified.
I hope they help you and thanks again for the question
