Scottish Culture - Passed on from father to son.

Expert: Thomas H McIntyre - 12/18/2008

Question
I am wondering if anything apart from name was traditionally past on from father to son, object wise. As I am looking at adding to a tattoo and was hoping to do something as a gesture to my dad.
Thanks.

Answer
 Robb,
The only things I can suggest are a pocket watch or a bible besides the typical transfer of property. Certainly in my family rifles (weapons) were also passed on!
Sorry but that's all the suggestions I can give you.

  Have a great Tattoo!
