Scottish Culture - please help translation

Expert: Kaye McAlpine - 12/12/2008

Question
Could you please help me translate a quote from english to scottish gaelic. The quote is "all men die. but few men really do live"

Answer
Hi Ben

I can't help you with this. I don't speak Gaelic - in terms of native languages I just speak Scots and Anglo-Scots (oh and English too of course).

However, i did track down a supposedly free translation service (by a human being not a computer apparently). You might want to try this:

http://www.freelang.net/translation/index.html

Good luck

Kaye
