Question
1)  I have been scrapping for 3 years.  I haven't used rubber stamps at all and would like some advice on how to use them in the most effective way.

2) Vellum paper - what is it and when is it used.

3) Regarding adhesives - would you recommend anything over the glue sticks that I have been using.

Please elaborate as you see fit.

Thanks.

Answer
hi Tina!

ok, regarding your questions!

#1)for rubber stamping i love to use alphabets for titles. I also like to use themed stamps, in whatever my page them is, use a coordinating color, and stamp all over a blank page to make my own background paper!

#2) vellum is a light weight see thru paper. You can tear it very easily for a nice accent, you can print journaling on it, you can even print a picture on it for a neat effect. the thing with vellum is attaching it! i tend to use brads or eyelets instead of adhesive. altho now there are several 'vellum' tapes that claim that you can not see the adhesive show thru!

#3) i would recommend not using glue sticks! try the tombo adhesives or dotto.......they are both made specifically for scrapbooking and adhere much better then glue sticks! You might also try glue dots for 'lumpy' embellishments, they are wonderful!

Happy Scrapping!
