ANSWER: Hi Ali,
I don't have any specific knowledge of the pharmacology field so I don't know how much help I can be. I did run a quick Google search for "pharmacology search engine" and got this result:
I'm sure if you do some more searches of that kind you'll find various engines that serve that field. Of course, you can't go wrong using Google since that comprises most of the world's searches performed.

QUESTION: Hello,
I want to know what is the importance & purpose of defining the overlap between the results of Meta search engines & search engines? & what's the methodology to define the overlap among search tools? Is there a formula or analytic method to do this? & can the type of keywords in searching affect the overlap? I mean that is there the deference between general keywords & expert keywords when we use general search engines like Google to define the overlap?
Thanks
Best regards "Sherman Ghazi"
Answer Hi Sherman,
By definition a "meta" search engine pulls results from true engines. They don't have their own index or algorithm of their own. Therefore the "overlap" will be 100%, but not all of that will be a single engine. How many results the meta engine decides to pull from each true engine will vary. Some of these variances might have to do with agreements as well as overlap between the true engines themselves.
