Experience I have 25 years experience in looking for answers to the most bizarre questions. For the past few weeks I was listed in the "Miscellaneous" category and folks somehow found me. Please check my ratings there for the past three weeks.
Question I am getting the following error message only when I close out of internet explorer. microsoft internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close... then after going into view the problem it says This problem is caused by microsoft internet explorer, currently there are no solutions to the problem. I am running windows 98.
Answer Rich, do a Google search on keywords:

Before you take any action, read several of the resulting hits. Could be caused by a lot of things. Try the first hit's solution by going into Tools/Internet options/Advanced/Browser/ and check on Disable Script debugging, to see if that works. If it doesn't, uncheck it and keep reading other solutions. Hope that helps, Pat
