Question
I need to know the date when prices on the website of a home builder were changed.  Is this possible?

Answer
Hi Linda,

Sorry Linda, its only possible to tell that from the web server that holds the web page. And that is available only to the owner of the web page, or the web site hosting company.

BUT! There is alittle trick I have found that sometimes works, not all the time though,, but it can't hurt to try. If the change was recent, look the web site up using Googles search. And then when the link shows in the search results, there is a little link at the bottom of the search results for that page. Its a link called "cached". This is a copy of the web page when Googles web page searched it to add it to Google. You may find its an older copy of the page. The date and time it was saved by Goolge is noted on the cached copy. That may have your older prices for you, but its just a chance.

But you will not know until you give it a try. SO step by step here is what you do to check:
1. OPen Google search engine in your web browser.
2. Type in the name of your website for the home builder.
3. Look at the Google results for that page and look at the link on the bottom of those results "cached".
4. Go to it and see if it has the older prices your looking for.

Good luck, I hope it works for you.

Be Safe!
