Searching the Internet/missing person locator
Expert: Pat Dunlap - 3/7/2004
QuestionI am trying to locate someone from my past and would like to know if there are any truly free web sites that locate a person without hidden gimmicks or or fees.
AnswerHi, Veronica! No, there are not any free Web sites to do this and most of all don't believe what they are trying to sell with NetDetective or the likes. I will say that there are lots of Internet "tools" to try to locate someone. Lots of folks on allexperts.com have asked me to help. I've been successful with some and some I have not. I am willing to help for free and here is my private address: peetee@erols.com but you will have to provide me with as much information as possible regarding the person. I can't promise success, but I will try. One of the first places to start is just typing the name in the Google search engine. Another is to (if you know the current state or city) is
http://www.anywho.com Or to find other resources try:
http://www.cyndislist.com/ Or type into Google: locating people
It is a frustrating search on the Internet, but there's always the possibility of finding the person.
Let me know if I can help more. All the best! Pat aka Patrick
