Subject: Ademco Alarm system

Question
I recently had to replace one of my wireless transmitters on my Ademco Security System (User manual = Via 30PSE vista 10PSE, with a 6127 control panel).  Upon receiving the new transmitter (model 5816), I learned it needs to be "enrolled".  Not sure how to do this, and can't find any instruction manual.  Any ideas.

Hello Patrick, and thanks for your question.

I'll not be able to help you directly, since I think the enrollment process depends on which radio receiver is installed in your system. It's likely installed inside the main control cabinet, but it may be in a separate enclosure.

and download the PDF of the appropriate manuals. This should put you on the right course.
